Do North Face Jackets Say North Face On The Back?

HELP THE VICTIMS OF DISASTERS

VOLUNTEER MINISTERS OF THE SLOGAN:
" We CAN do something about it "

As individuals or as that parishioners of a church of Scientology, we are engaged in improvement activities Social and participate in numerous charitable activities.
In France alone, each year more than 100,000 hours are spent in volunteer activities.
Many Scientologists became ministers volunteers (in English "Volunteer Ministers") from their local church, offering their support and compassion to help others overcome the difficulties, small or large, they may have in life. Our teams of volunteers, whose numbers are steadily increasing, now number more than 69,000 volunteers in over 150 countries on five continents. In the words of L. Ron Hubbard, founder of the religion Scientology, when he launched the program of volunteer ministers in the mid 70's, each is "a person who, on a strictly volunteer, help others by providing simple and effective advice to people she meets to help them overcome difficulties they may have in life. "
By using very simple methods of Scientology, to everyone, our ministers volunteers demonstrate their commitment to finding solutions, as expressed in their slogan:
" It CAN be done something. "
Over the last 30 years, they are known for their effective assistance following earthquakes, floods, fires, explosions and civil unrest. During the recent crisis in the suburbs, the volunteers were mobilized to help restore calm. For example, the 3000 City of Aulnay sous-Bois, they have helped to reduce tension between residents and authorities with expertise in communication and their ability to listen and understand. They provide ongoing assistance in problem areas, in particular by addressing the root of illiteracy with the widely proven teaching methods of Ron Hubbard. In Italy, where volunteers Scientologists have formed a "group of civil service" [Civil Defense Force] official request from the authorities, pedagogy Hubbard is used as part of a free lesson for immigrants to learn Italian. Volunteers have also worked closely with municipal and regional authorities during the Olympic Games in Turin. After the wave of terrorist attacks in London last juilllet, our ministers volunteers worked round the clock with local police and authorities, helping to relieve trauma victims and providing valuable support to officers and rescue teams working in extremely harsh conditions. These volunteers and the Church, have received letters of thanks very warm from various authorities, including police in the City, its "sincere thanks to you and your team of London Volunteer Ministers Scientology, for the support you have given us in the City of London following the explosions last week's devastating. "
Ministers volunteers also trained to support processes of Scientology, simple methods that bring spiritual relief after trauma, shock, emotional or physical pain.

These processes support, or "assists", produce spectacular results, as shown in the history of these fishermen in the area of Medan on the northeast coast of Sumatra. Traumatized by the tsunami of December 2004, they no longer wanted to go to sea, thus depriving them of food for entire villages whose inhabitants were forced to wait for the distribution of bags of rice by the government or NGOs.
After receiving assistance from a volunteer group of ministers, the villagers began to emerge from apathy in the cataclysm which had plunged. At the end of the day, they felt able to return to the water and quickly regained the boats sea
Thus, volunteers are helping by making assists. As we mentioned above, they are also trained in many other areas: teaching people to learn, organize charitable activities, food distribution, rehabilitation of dilapidated neighborhoods, improve interpersonal relationships.

At balance sheet, more than 120,000 people have been helped by Scientology volunteers in the areas most affected by the tsunami and more than half of them were briefly introduced to these methods of assistance already on order now to make a little help to their relatives. On the other side of the ocean, India, the number of survivors who have benefited from the help of volunteers exceeds 225 000. Naturally, representatives of the authorities show their gratitude for the help and hope brought by the
volunteer ministers in countries affected by the tsunami and to Louisiana, a victim of Hurricane Katrina. On December 26, 2005, the anniversary of the tsunami, the department of religion in Aceh, Indonesia, held to honor the volunteer ministers, saying that their help had "changed the lives of our people."
In Louisiana, Senator Nick Gautreaux wrote: "What I saw ministers volunteers accomplish is remarkable ... They were to rise to the occasion, building from scratch and organizing shelter for our people in Vermilion Parish , responding to 24 out of 24 needs with compassion and confidence. "
Most Churches of Scientology are organized to be able to quickly assemble a team of volunteers in case of necessity.
